Andiko
Lawyers and Advocates

Andiko serves as Program Coordinator of Huma, an organization of lawyers and advocates who provide critical legal assistance and support for litigation to communities. Most cases result from structural problems surrounding agrarian and natural resource governance in Indonesia. Huma tackles these issues through the legal system, while also actively supporting change towards more community and ecologically sound governance systems through providing legal research, studies, and drafting policies for various parties. Andiko's body of work includes drafting legislation, regulations, and conducting original resource on key natural resource governance issues including land law, forestry/plantation/mining regulations, climate change, and the rights of society. Andiko's work supports positive, practical change on the ground through challenging and mending the shortcomings of existing policy and regulations.
